Wedding Photography

I've done a few different things for weddings for family and friends. I have followed around the "real" photographer and shot pictures over their heads, or from different angles. I've also taken the couple around to do additional shots after the photographer was done.

I then pick out some of the best, clean them up, and have them ready for the reception. I've done both having prints made to display on a table as well as brought in a screen to do a slideshow of the pictures for those waiting in the reception line. Both have been very well received by visitors, especially the slide show.

Tom and Michelle at the Salt Lake City Temple

I shadowed the real photographer and shot these over his shoulder or from a different angle (which is why they are never looking at me). I actually like how the different angle worked out.

Nathan and Terri Wedding at the Mount Timpanogos Temple

This was my first time being "the" photographer. This couple apparently reached a new low of desperation to call on my services. But luckily I had good material to work with and got some great shots. I was able to try out a number of shots I had seen others do, and they came out very well. I just wish I could remember who the inspirations were so I could give them a nod.
